RPi3 + Exagear + Dropbox = permission error

Postby YUYI » Mon Jan 23, 2017 1:59 pm

Hi all!
Have some problem with Exagear + Dropbox on RPi3.
After installing i see this message (attechment).
what i try:
1. sudo chmod 0777 /home/pi/Dropbox - no effect
2. sudo exagear debian-8 --/bin/bash -c "dropbox start -i" - no effect
3. mkdir /home/pi/Dropbox && sudo chmod 0777 /home/pi/Dropbox && sudo mount /dev/sda1 /home/pi/Dropbox and then installing DropBox - no effect

what i need in resoult - move dropbox folder to another place (USB HDD) but i can't open settings bcoz error pop-up block and close preference window.
Maybe Dropbox save configurations in some file and i can edit it before start DropBox?

Have some ideas?

Please apply the patch and check if the error is fixed.

Download exagear patch:
Code: Select all
$ wget http://downloads.eltechs.com/exagear-desktop-v-1-5-5/exagear-mem2g_2675-1_armhf.deb

Install it on top of already installed ExaGear Desktop version 1.5:

Code: Select all
$ sudo dpkg -i exagear-mem2g_2675-1_armhf.deb

Reboot your device to make sure that all x86 services now using the new exagear.
Run DropBox and see if the issue has gone.
