Raspberry Pi and GOG Game Configuration Issues

Raspberry Pi and GOG Game Configuration Issues

Postby Ruffturn » Thu Nov 30, 2017 5:21 pm

I'm using a Raspberry Pi 3 and I've successfully installed ExaGear and older DOS GOG games like the original Duke Nukem, Flight of the Amazon Queen, Beneath a Steel Sky and a couple of others from the same era.

However, I've had some issues with slightly newer DOS GOG version games though. Duke Nukem 2 & Descent have serious sound issues where the sound pulsates. Myst just opens up as a black window. Mag Runner Pulse says my graphic card isn't supported. Doom II opens and locks on its splash screen. Other games have similar types of issues. I really believe that these issues can be fixed by editing the individual game config files. I have no idea though where these config files are though and how I would edit them if I did find them.

Does anyone know where/how to get to these DOSBOX type of config files to edit them? I apologize for my ignorance. My Linux /Debian experience isn't near as good as my DOS.

Thanks in advance.
