How to pass a program(Spotify) name to exagear-link?

How to pass a program(Spotify) name to exagear-link?

Postby JLIspace » Mon Jun 19, 2017 12:30 pm

Hey,

I got Spotify installed with Exagear (Ubuntu 1404 guest system). The problem is that the Spotify-Icon doesn't show up in my Ubuntu MATE GUI menu. (Like shown on the official tutorial using an PI)
I can start spotify by opening a command line entering "exagear" and after that "spotify". But how can I just use one command linked to a newly created menu entry?

I'm using an ODROID-XU4 (also tested on my ODROID-U3, same result.)

Thanks in advance :)

Hi JLi,

from the manual
Inside the host session you have two options:
1.enter the command exagear --
system in one line. For example:
and path to the x86 application inside the guest
user@arm-server:$ exagear -- /usr/sbin/nginx -h
2.enter the full path to the binary of x86 application because it is located under a particular
directory /opt/exagear/images/<guest_system_version> called the x86
world. For example:
user@arm-server:$ /opt/exagear/images/debian-8/usr/sbin/nginx -h
