Hi Everyone!

Thought I would share my experience using this cool software and post a basic guide to installing it onto the ODROID U3. I am assuming you know how to image Micro SD cards, and have experience with ODROID and Linux.
  1. Image and boot Minimal Ubuntu Sever 14.04 LTS
  2. Get the OS updated
    Code: Select all
    sudo apt-get -y update && sudo apt-get -y dist-upgrade
  3. Sort out a few pre-requisites
    Code: Select all
    sudo apt-get -y install alsa-base #ExaGear might complain if this isn't installed.
sudo mkdir /etc/pulse #ExaGear might complain if this doesn't exist.
    cd #
    mkdir exagear
    cd exagear
  4. Copy the ExaGear tar.gz file and your key/license file into the newly created exagear directory using TFTP/SFTP/WinSCP/wget etc.
  5. Install!
    Code: Select all
tar -zxvf exagear-desktop.tar.gz #extract archive contents
sudo ./ #run the automated installer
  6. Switch into the ExaGear Guest System
    Code: Select all
  7. Verify the running platform
    Code: Select all
    uname -a

[You should see something like the following...]
    Code: Select all
    Linux linaro-server #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Mar 8 10:56:04 CET 2014 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
Crossed fingers this guide helps you, and your installation goes smoothly.

For more information about prerequisites, installation, running, administration and removal, there is a PDF guide bundled with your installation archive.

Good luck and enjoy :)
