Cannot start up exagear

Postby beerboymark » Wed Aug 31, 2016 2:05 am

Hi all,

So I installed a fresh copy of Jessie on my RPi3 on a 64gb Sandisk class 10. I expanded the filesystem, installed XRDP, set a static local IP address and updated and upgraded the RPi. I installed exagear as per the instructions and it didn't flag any errors. When attempting to run
Code: Select all
exagear
however I came across the following error:

lkv_SubstitutedFSPaths::Init: failed to initialise the list of FS paths
that need to be virtualised: -2 (ENOENT (No such file or directory)).
Failed to start Exagear. Please check that file /opt/exagear/bin/ubt_x32a32_al exists and has executable permission
lkv_SubstitutedFSPaths::Init: failed to initialise the list of FS paths
that need to be virtualised: -2 (ENOENT (No such file or directory)).

I tried running
Code: Select all
sudo exagear
but it still persisted. I check with
Code: Select all
arch
and I was still in ARM world. how do I ensure all exagear runs with admin rights?

ubt_x32a32_al does exist and appear to have executable permissions after checking the properties but I do not understand what the rest of the error means.

Thanks in advance!

Could you please check that exagear packages are installed correctly. Could you post the output of the following command:
Code: Select all
$ dpkg -l 'exagear*'

Hi,

same problem here:

pi@raspberrypi:~/Downloads $ exagear
Please, reactivate your key!
License check has failed.
Exiting.
Failed to start Exagear. Please check that file /opt/exagear/bin/ubt_x32a32_al exists and has executable permission
Please, reactivate your key!
License check has failed.

When I key in
opt/exagear/bin $ dpkg -l 'exagear*'
I get this:

pi@raspberrypi:/opt/exagear/bin $ dpkg -l 'exagear*'
Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold

Any idea how to fix this?
